Guidelines for environmental protection in agriculture deals with all the important aspects of agriculture relating to the protection of water, air and soil, with the exception of biodiversity.

Guidelines for environmental protection in agriculture is published jointly by the FOEN and the FOAG and was developed in close collaboration with the cantonal offices for the environment and agriculture, the CCE and COSAC (Swiss conference of cantonal agriculture services).

Guidelines consist of five modules:

• Rural installations (in german and french)
• Agricultural biogas plants
• Fertiliser elements and the use of fertilisers
• Plant protection products in agriculture
• Soil
