Support for agricultural advisory activities of organisations
Innovative Swiss agriculture requires effective and efficient measures for the utilisation and exchange of knowledge. The FOAG can provide financial assistance to organisations that perform these tasks in specialist areas of agricultural advisory services.

Initial situation and objectives
In addition to AGRIDEA and the cantonal advisory services, other organisations are active in the agricultural advisory sector in specialised thematic or methodical areas. These organisations have a supra-regional focus and are leaders in their field. The Confederation can support the activities of these organisations with financial assistance. These activities strengthen innovation in agriculture and contribute to the achievement of agricultural policy objectives.
Formal requirements
The competition takes place every four years. Applications are open to organisations operating in specialised areas in several regions or across Switzerland. Applicants must complete the application form and the corresponding cost table and submit them together with the other documents by the deadline (see «additional information»). For dates and address, see «Contact».
Evaluation criteria
The assessment criteria are described in section 4.2 of the guidelines for applicants (see «additional information»).
Decision
FOAG's Senior Management decides on the applications. Decisions are communicated in writing to the applicants. If the application is accepted, financing is contractually agreed.
Further information
The FOAG provides a reduced English-language version of its website that does not include all further information such as documents, legislation or links. These can be found on the pages in the three official languages (German, French and Italian).
