Current agricultural policy projects
The Confederation is running several projects to shape the agricultural policy of tomorrow and meet strategic goals. It is working to evaluate current policy and develop future policy. The next agricultural policy phase is AP30+, which aims to guarantee food security, reduce ecological footprints, improve economic and social prospects for agriculture and simplify instruments.

Agricultural Policy 2030+
Work on the next phase of agricultural policy is well under way. The FOAG is laying the foundations for Agricultural Policy 2030+ (AP30+) in response to a parliamentary mandate.

Agricultural expenditure ceilings
The Confederation supports agriculture by investing in production bases, production and marketing, and providing direct payments. Parliament stipulates the maximum amounts for each of these areas by setting multi-year expenditure ceilings.
