Livestock Environmental Assessment and Performance (LEAP)

The aim of the multilateral Livestock Environmental Assessment and Performance (LEAP) Partnership is to develop joint scientific methods for measuring the environmental performance of the livestock sector.

The LEAP Partnership was launched in 2012 with the aim of improving the environmental performance of the livestock sector while considering social and economic viability. This is a scientific-technical partnership consisting of FAO member countries and organisations from the private sector, research and non-governmental organisations (NGO).
