Statistics and Simulation Models

The International Trade Relations unit (ITR) of the Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG) relies on quantitative tools to assess multilateral and regional trade agreements as support for international trade negotiations. The unit therefore regularly works with economic simulation models, such as the CAPRI model ("Common Agricultural Policy Regionalized Impact").
