Agricultural statistics of some trading partners

Here we present the agricultural profile of a selection of countries. It includes structural data (hectares, labour force, etc.), and trade data (prices, imports, exports, customs duties).

The aim is to give readers an overview of the agricultural statistics of a selection of Switzerland's partner countries. The latter were selected on the basis of their importance and the existence of ongoing or recently concluded FTA negotiations. Data sources include a number of international institutions – the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) – as well as the foreign trade statistics of the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (FOCBS) and the International Trade Centre (ITC).
