Agricultural policy
The federal government establishes an agricultural policy framework to support farming families in fulfilling their social responsibilities. The principles for this are set out in Articles 104 and 104a of the Swiss Federal Constitution. The Federal Office for Agriculture (FOAG) involves the necessary target groups when developing strategies and measures.

Strategies and projects
Through agricultural policy, the federal government creates framework conditions that enable farming families to meet public expectations as effectively as possible, as set out in the Swiss Constitution (Art. 104 and Art. 104a).
